GLITZ NAILS FAQ

STEP 1: PREP YOUR NAILS BEFORE APPLICATION Wash and dry your hands. Do not apply moisturiser or cuticle oils prior to applying nails. Shape/Smooth your nails using a nail file, remove any dead skin from around your nails (nail file and wooden applicator stick provided) Clean nails thoroughly using the alcohol wipes provided. This will remove any cuticle residue or oils from your nails prior to nail application. Wait for your nails to dry. STEP 2: APPLYING THE NAIL WRAPS Choose the correct size Gel Nail Wrap for your nail. To ensure best fit, you can gently stretch the wraps with your fingers or carefully cut the wraps to fit before applying them. Peel off the clear protective film. Place gently on your nail, ensuring the wrap does not touch your cuticle or any skin around your nail. Once you are happy with the fit, press the Gel Nail Wrap firmly onto your own nail. Use the wooden applicator stick provided to apply pressure around the edges of the Gel Nail Wrap. Remove the excess/overlapping Gel Nail Wrap from your fingers or toes using a nail file, taking care not to tear the edge of the Gel Nail Wrap (you can also cut the excess with scissors). STEP 3: CURING THE NAIL WRAPS Place your nails under the UV Lamp and cure for 60-120-180 seconds. Ensure that nail wraps have been properly cured as this will ensure longevity of the wraps. The wraps should be hard to the touch once cured correctly. Avoid contact with water for 2 hours approximately after curing your gel wraps Our Gel Wraps can last 2-3 weeks if applied correctly. We recommend using rubber gloves when washing up and if working with chemicals. Please note: Glitz Nails Semi Cured Gel Nail Wraps are not designed to be used as nails extensions. If applied and removed correctly, these are an excellent way of helping to strengthen and grow your natural nails. STORAGE To prevent the Semi Cured Gel Nail Strips from hardening prematurely, store in the original packaging and Keep away from all light and heat sources. HOW TO REMOVE THE GEL NAIL WRAPS Carefully, using the wooden applicator stick provided, ease the wooden stick under the Gel Nail Wrap, gently moving side to side gradually lift the wrap from your nail. You can also apply cuticle oil under the Gel Wrap at this stage to help loosen from your natural nail. Clean any sticky residue from the nail using one of the alcohol wipes provided. STORAGE To prevent the Semi Cured Gel Nail Strips from hardening prematurely, store in the original packaging and Keep away from all light and heat sources. NOT STICKING TO YOUR NAILS or FALLING OFF PREMATURELY Ensure that you follow the correct Nail Preparation process. Your nails must be thoroughly wiped clean, removing all moisture/oils, using the Alcohol Wipes provided, and nails must be dry prior to application. Ensure that you have chosen the correct size. The wraps must not be touching your cuticle or skin. When fitting the wraps you may need to select a smaller size and stretch to fit alternatively select a larger size and carefully cut to fit. Ensure that you have cured the nails correctly. Allow 60-120-180 seconds for curing. The nails must be cured completely. The time may vary for this depending on your UV Lamp. If you are using our lamps, we recommend 120-180 seconds. Once Nail Wraps are fitted and cured they should be hard to the touch. Ensure wraps have been stored correctly. They must be stored in the blackened sleeve provided and in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. Ensure that you keep your hands out of water for the first 2 hours after initial application. How to Use: 1) Connect the UV/LED Lamp to a power source using the USB cable. 2) Apply Glitz Nails Semi-Cured UV Gel Polish Wraps onto your nails. 3) Place your nails under the device. 4) Press the top of the UV Lamp to activate and cure your nails. (this is 60 seconds approximately) 5) Wait for the light to turn off and Repeat 6) If your nails are hard to the touch our nails are now cured!
